Still having bad smell issues with windscreen washer system. Looked ar drawings if the bottle to see how you remove it and it looks like a bugger to get at. Anyone tried removing it?

Drop a couple of sterident tablets in it or some Milton, leave it in for a day or so then flush out by holding the wash on then rinse and repeat.

I'll try leaving it until the tank is empty and try more powerful disinfectant as sterident seems to last a week or so

Continuing story about smelly windscreen washer bottle. I've tried the Milton disinfectant and it smells much better. However warning to anyone else trying this if you use the windscreen washer with the disinfectant still in it makes a total mess of the windscreen and bodywork. Comes off admfter a wash but it looks awful. So decided to stick hose in bottle and flush it for ages which seems to have done the job. So thanks for the tip on Milton disinfectant safrane

We do talk about the most inane stuff on here but it's important when your car smells like a damp dog
