Which gearbox oil for 4200 CC?

Hi guys, just trying to search the forum but didn't have much luck. Which oil is the best for our 4200/GS CC gearbox? I have done few google searches and came up with some uncertain answers from various Maser forums (due to LSD,transaxle....Etc.)

Below are some of the answers.

- factory Agip rotra lsx
- Redline 75w90 NS
- Motul 300v 75w90

I checked my service history that Lancaster used Mobil 1 75w90 gear oil in the last service. Not sure if it is any good? Any suggestions?

I dont know as i let Autoshield fettle mine. Try ringing an Indie or main dealer service department.

From the OM...

Cambiocorsa Gearbox. 2.8 litres.

75W/90 over the API GL4-GL5C API MT1-PG2 standards.

Recommended - ROTRA LSX.

Good grief! I hope my gearbox oil has all those numbers and letters!

Not sure if Agip Rotra LSX is still available. It was the recommended oil for Ferrari 308..etc.
