When I reverse, the passenger mirror dips....

... but not every time!

Seems odd, but if I physically move the passenger mirror down to help me park, then it will do it automatically for the next few times (about 4 or 5). Then stops doing it.

Anyone know why?

Mine does it every time, but seat memory never works and neither does easy exit

My steering wheel and seat always work but my mirror sometimes refuses to dip. Doesn't happen that often but I take it as part of my car's 'character'

Mine go nuts both sides....up,down, in, out...oooh er ! They just return to the same place they started from too...Bit of a fiasco tbh ! :p

Mine went all over the place last time I reversed, so I turned it all off, with mirrors skyward, gave it a **** good wash, restarted, and hey presto, normal, I’ve not done the memory set tho, may have a go today..

Ah, is it? I didn’t realise that. Mind you, it’s a moot point - seat rest didn’t work for long either!
Sorry you have both lost me.

Are you saying, disconnecting the battery resets the mirror and the seat ‘easy exit’ feature?

Will give it a go anyway and see if there are any other new behaviours I have not known exist.

I should really read the manual sometime too!

Typo - should have written ‘seat reset’.

There’s a process for resetting the seats which involves tilting them back a forth a few times to force the seats to remember where the extremities of fore and aft movement are. A quick search, or Catmanopedia, will yield the exact process, which I can’t remember.

oh god - flashbacks to "easy entry" on the 3200!!
My easy entry / exit works all the time on the QPV - even enables itself on occasion. Similar issues with passenger mirrors, but ascribe this to Alheizmers on my own 2006 model.
