Nice.
That would have been AC/DC lane. Cherry Bar often has some pretty cool acts playing there.

Anyone interested in studios this was a Focusrite Forte installed in Master Rock in Kilburn, only two FF's were made this one and one for Electric Lady. Bit of a beast.

Me and my mate were talking about the great b-sides we remember, Silver Springs the b-side to Go Your Own Way, Pretty Maids All In A Row the b-side to Hotel California etc
This track has nothing to do with b-sides but the original version was on Hotel California(album) it was a Randy Meisner song,Try And Love Again, I remember Glen Frey being interviewed by the late Roger Scott on the classic album series and he said it was a good song but the most un-Hotel California track on the album. I think it was probably the best track on there.
This is Randy Meisner doing it with his own band back in the late 70s.

Not to mention ‘I Play The Spoons' by Clive Dunne, B-side to the seminal ‘Grandad'

I've waited 45 years for this to come up as a tiebreaker question in the local pub quiz and guess what happened this Saturday? Didn't happen then either, still waiting...

Singer sounds a bit like Rob Halford George.

Interesting Andy, I have never really thought that tbh but I'll look out for the similarity on my next listen.
He certainly doesn't hit the same highs as Halford.

Agree, but I preferred the old style Rob to the one now where he just paces from one side of the stage to the other like a caged Lion....Saw them in the 80's and he was a showman, saw them around 5 years ago and it was like he was a different man.

Well on this latest tour he is BACK. The old Rob....trust me and read the reviews.
Also, let's give him a little slack he is like 69!!! And they are the longest lasting Heavy Metal band around - PERIOD! (Now that Sabbath is done)

Louder than Motorhead were.....? ....... Just though Rob had list his stage presence over the last 10 years but great if you say he's back.

Moving house this week, downsizing and a lot of vinyl had to go in the skip. Most of my records have been used and abused so none of them are worth much. Kept back a few albums and my Judie Tzuke collection.

Great album.
First show of the tour use to be at Hatfield Forum, in 1982 the opening track of the show was Heaven Can Wait "Here's a message from Radio City" which was the opening track on Shoot The Moon.
I can remember that but can't remember where I was last saturday. lol My favourite show on that tour was at Glastonbury that year, 8pm slot on sunday night, great performance. The previous year I saw her supporting Thin Lizzy at Milton Keynes Bowl, Snowy White had joined Lizzy, it was a good day but wish I had got to see Lizzy with Brian Robertson or Gary Moore.
