Lizzy Hale did this song at the Country music awards with this country chap. Typical country but for me she came on and showed then how to do it. Her voice made the chaps sounds very weak indeed. Most people in the crowd didn't know who she was but they did after hearing her range.

You may have gathered I have a thing for this band and Lzzy.

Just seen on Facebook it was this day in 1975 that Elton John released Captain Fantastic, this period must of been when he was at the top of his game, great album, then afterwards it seemed to decline.

Graveyard released a new album end of May called Peace

For those that don't know them, they are a swedish heavy Blues rock band. I've seen them live a couple of times.
This latest offering prob not as good as some of their earlier albums like Hisingen Blues, but that could change after I've had a few more listens

Anyway, try:
Cold Love
It aint over yet
A sign of Peace
Please don't try

On another note, Ghost have just released a new album called Prequelle. This band is certainly out there and not for everyone. Live they are a very theatrical band very entertaining but I don't take this stuff seriously.

Try :
Dance Macabre
Rats
Pro Memoria

I met Dave Dowle at Clearwel recording studio when he was in Whitesnake. Decent chap. ....... That era was definitely the best Whitesnake line up...Love Hunter and Ready and Willing are my two favourite Whitesnake LP's and I don't think they topped them. Certainly not the big hair band they become....

Listening to Canadian 80's rockers Conry Hatch at the moment....

Just noticed a favourite of mine was recorded at Clearwell Castle, Straight Shooter by Bad Co.

Love this Van era, saw him in 82 at Glastonbury and the following year came out with this great live album from Belfast Opera House.

Russian hip-hop anybody? Surprisingly good, video is capitivating, 1980 Moscow Olympics, sulphur skies, cosmonauts on big screen, Masha Medved shedding a tear and carried off by balloons into the Moscow night.

And a most excellent guitar riff, Delfin (Dolphin) with Vesna (Spring).
