What Happened to ADG

I bought my car from ADG in 2009 and have looked at their website on occasions.
Looking today I see no sign of Maserati either in their home page 'piece' nor in their stocklist.
Have they found it was easier to work with the more mundane marques (and I mean no disrespect in saying this), rather than the trickier Italian beauties?

Please excuse the terrible mis-spelling of the title!!!!

ADG were co-located with Giallo but both parties relocated to separate premises this year. With Giallo branching into sales I guess ADG are concentrating on the more "bread and butter" makes.

I guess they finally realised there is not enough profit or interest in the market for them and that buying used ones without a PPI can be very costly. It's a shame really as Alistair and David offer a decent service.

They pulled forum advertising about a year ago and said they were moving away from Maserati.

I think Phil and Cape's cars were probably the final nail in the coffin as I know they paid out heaving for clutches and the like post sale.

Must be scope for more specialist retailers of these cars in the Home Counties now they have gone. Nuvola might have some nice cars in but his website is a PIA to use, Dicky's is much better.

With Ghibli and Levante sales adding to the huge increase in Maserati sales then I guess in two or three years time there will really be a demand for such specialists.

What functions does it need?
You just need to see the cars - they are listed in price order, and you just pick up the phone and make an offer.
Both websites are good. Its just that nareman for some reason now has so many cars its slow to load photos.
His photographer does take unrivalled photos though..

Agree. Ghiblis don't really fit that mould. When all the lease ones come into sales, I dread to think of the Diesel residuals.

I think it depends what browser you use. It works fine for me on a modern browser, and quick connection, but some places still use old versions of explorer and it certainly doesn't like that!

The main issue is that he is known for selling Maseratis' but you cannot just show Maseratis' for sale. You have to plug your way through all the cars he has, initially listed in stock intake reverse order. Not the best - needs more functionality.

Also I don't like these new clean home pages people have in that you have to go to a menu button to get anything. What's wrong with shortcuts on the home page? You did ask........

I'm glad you're happy with mine as I tried to get it spot on. As most of us, I can't bear bad websites.

Nuvola's old website wasn't great but having just looked at it on my phone it works great and the photos are amazing.

In fact the photos are so good they could be posters! One is now my new screen background.

I should add that he's also a top bloke to deal with and an interesting guy.
