What’s this part?

Fell from under front passenger footwell, daughter’s foot and super-pointy shoe seems to have kicked it off. Thing is I can get it back up there as it doesn’t seem to fit anywhere. Plus now I notice I have a passenger footwell light...

Can't see it on the parts diagrams :(

C

Me neither, I honestly think it's not part of my car! There are some numbers on it but nothing that looks like a Maserati/Ferrari part number and no manufacturers mark for any clues.

The numbers are (if anybody cares!)..

0311237 and PA66-GF30 on the smaller piece and;

0311218 and PP-TD20 on the larger...

I've google them, lots of car related stuff bit nowt that looks like these.....

It's definitely meant to be there and it goes under the glovebox - I'm just not sure whit it's for

I just had a grope underneath (phnarr-phnarr) and there seems to be a metal plate under there it could go on, but why and why does it need to slide and what makes it slide?

Spot on! How did I miss that! Just had my pollen filter replaced so that's one for the garage that replaced it! Must hold it in, maybe it'll fall out and maybe this is why I've suffered with hay fever since it was done despite not having suffered for years. I'm from Bolton, we don't have hay or any foliage or owt green. I moved to rural Scotland when I was 35 and that first summer I really suffered, blocked ears, runny nose, couldn't breathe, got over it though 'cos I'm hewn from solid Lancashire.

Does seem a complicated set up for just holding a filter in place if that's all it does. Oh no wait. Maserati.....

She called 'shotgun' over her boyfriend. Fair and square really...

Odd really, the back seats on the QP are the place to be especially as I have headrest telly screens in mine.....
