Just got a call from HR Owen saying there is a recall on my car for warranty work to check the compression in the engine??

Anyone know anything about it?

I wonder if that's what caused the fire in the GranCab in the video I posted earlier.

That was my thought David but if the recall was for 33 cars then there are now only 31 they need to worry about seeing as two have already been turned to ash.

Maserati really do not understand the urgent recall concept.

How would you find out if your car has had the recalls seen to?

Phone a main dealer and give them your car details mark and ask them to check. They will be able to tell you. With yours as your reg has just changed give them the old reg as well incase their records have not been updated yet.

Yep, a call to your main dealer or Maserati UK head office with your VIN in hand and they will be able to tell you if you are up to date with recalls and campaigns. If your car is MD serviced, they should check it each time they see it too

Sorry loss of vehicle control is listed as one recall! Bit alarming!! What was that related to?

Nothing about engine and compression though.

HR Owen said they could take my car whenever and would take 1/2 a day.

The loss of control was a faulty thread on the tie rod ends. From the sounds of it they were stripping the thread and that was leading to the loss of control.
When you look at the dvsa list where it says concern and the fault click on it and more details appear.
