Evening Ram, there are some good ones and some bad ones.

Just make sure you get an independent inspection before purchasing.

Things to look out for are:
Crankshaft Endfloat, erratic idling, faulty throttle bodies and pedal pots, rust in the rear arches and lower boot lip and below the rear lights. ERROR on the dash, this signifies suspension issues.

Oil pressure should be 5 bar cold and 2.5 bar when hot idle and 5 bar at hot revved.

Dont fancy a Spyder do you, this is a great one for the price:

Hi Conaero,

Many thanks for the prompt response, and thanks again for the summary of things to look out for. It will prove very helpful and saves me reading the 100's of pages of various forums asking just that.
The car that I was looking at was booked in for an inspection but the chap sold the car before I could put down a deposit.
As for the Spyder, it's not for me; I just love the twin turbo, V8 with Boomerang lights, but as you know, good cars are hard to come by.
