Presumed wrong!!

Bloody **** - have you actually bought a car Dave?

If yes, then well done. If I hadn't recently bought my Cooper, I would have jumped at this one as a fabulous little daily driver...

Cheers mate , it's gone to Dave a little cheaper than I would of liked but at least I haven't had to pay for advertising and deal with time wasters , he's got him self a good little car.Now he needs to get him self a mazza now !

Nice work boys. Got to be better than that manly 500 you have Dave!

Well, bit more go, I love that little car, its got so much character, and when you get all squirreley in a corner it just keeps turning,

John's been a total gent as well to let it go to fit my daughters budget, top man...

apart from the 7 posted in the last few weeks :O

I've not seen a Med Blu GTS MC Shift for sale since the one that Dicky had was up for sale (within my budget)

I will hang on until Dec/jan/Feb anyway now and if nothing floats my boat it may well be something different, when I see a car I want I will secure it - just like above !!!

Edit: Just checked autotrader 5 cars under £45k - Blue - and I would not buy a single one of them, and I doubt anyone else would (from here)

Ok, maybe this, but is an auto...

I agree with you. Med Blu is a surprisingly rare colour, and if you combine this with it having to be a MC Shift, then "rocking horse poop" is probably a fair description. To be honest I had no clue when I bought mine how lucky I was. I just saw it, liked it, and after speaking to Richard Grace, decided to go for it (despite it being the Auto)!

Well done on the Golf - looks a nice car, and good value...

Yep you would, now put a budget of 45k on it instead of open ended!!!

Apology accepted!!!

They aren't rare if you really want one, lots of opportunities, and as you say its a buyers market. Half as popular as black and similar to white, 5x more common than red.
Any one that is advertised for up to 48,500 would be mad not to accept 45 from a serious buyer.

I can see your point but for some reason a QP often gives slight better vfm than a GT. Pretty much the same car in the main just cheaper like for like. I drive mainly 4/5 door cars day to day mainly on my own. Makes no difference to me how many doors it has as I only use one
