Using Collecting Cars to sell a license plate

As per the title, has anyone using them to sell a plate? I've asked them to see what they'd get for mine. AM12 NUT, if anyone's interested. Would suit enthusiasts of 12-cylinder Aston Martins. I've got something else on retention so just want rid of the old plate.

I had D8 7VV on my DB7 Vantage Volante, with a little tweaking it look great. Was offered £2200 on a private sale but dealer paid a £1500 premium and I left it on the car. It was a £299 plate from DVLA. Happy Days ……..

Result! Good plate, too.

I've bought VH12 AML for a VH-platform 12 cylinder Aston Martin Lagonda. For £250. The enthusiasts will get it at least.

£250 for a private plate is the cheapest the DVLA will sell. £250 was also the price of a rusty Ford Ka I saw yesterday with a private plate...I think the Ka was free...
