USB Media File Limit

I've ripped my whole CD collection and put it on a 128 GB USB drive. It has about 11,000 files in 900 folders. When I put the USB into my 2015 Ghibli it only finds 7747 files. Whole directories are missing. Mostly of the later stuff I have copied onto the USB. Is there an upper limit to how may files the Ghibli can handle or possibly a maximum number of folders? The USD is formatted FAT32. Maybe I should recreate the USB using NTFS? The same USB worked find in my Alfa Giulia.

You *might* have hit the limit. Which year is it? I have something like 9500 files. Not sure how many folders.
I'd check firstly that all the files are readable on a PC
That they are all in compatible formats
and which slot are you using on the Ghibli?

Just looking at the structure of mine, I have them sorted by artist (which is how iTunes does it) so top level is only 250 folders......Might be worth considering (plus it's going to be ****** scrolling through 900 folders to find something...)
