Trickle Charger Adaptor

I've got one of the super duper trickle chargers from Lidl which works perfectly, however, to trickle charge my battery I need to lift the boot floor up and attach the clamps to the battery terminals.

Is there any way of buying the adaptor like the one that goes on the Ctek chargers that just plug into the the 12v socket in the boot?

Do they not use the same C-TEK plug? If not, you can buy the plug for the boot socket simple enough and make one....

I'm not sure, I'll have to have a look. I couldn't see a plug when I came across the charger this morning. That's not to say there isn't one.

Yes , I recently got one for another car .
With my Spyder I went another route , I hard wired a hook up connection to the battery and left the lead poking out of the battery compartment so I don’t have to faff about with any covers or mats etc .

Buy the CTEK Adaptor - fit socket end to battery terminals, remove clamps from your charger and solder on / joint to the 2 pin plug end of adaptor..

Marks will be a cable which runs direct from charger with 2 crocodile clips on too attach direct to battery. At least that's how my spare aldi/ lidl one is.

Indeed it is. Will have a look around an see if there is an adaptor anywhere.

Is there a 12 socket in the boot like with the GS? If so just buy a plug for the socket and plug it in.

My old optimate (15 years old) started getting uncomfortably hot a couple of weeks ago, and discoloured due to heat, so binned it!
Before binning it chopped off the 12v plug and soldered onto the lidl charger instead of the croc clips.

Ah yes, Soldering. That was the method I was thinking of.
