TPMS - accuracy or not

I use my own pressure gauge each time I inflate the tyres. Sometimes I get the message to re-calibrate. Even after doing this and several days later check the pressures manually to find they are all the same. But when I check on the dashboard readout the nearside front is usually low and the rears are often slightly higher. On a run of course they all increase slightly. Does anyone else experience this?

Does it sit out in the sun? You'll be surprised how much difference a few rays on them can make.

It is kept on the drive but sheltered by wall of house and 6' high fence so no direct sunlight onto wheels or tyres

Yes I get this well, winter here and it starts off with a warning but goes away once tyres warm up.
