Hmmmm....
Seems there might be a bit of a snag with card abuse at The Old Orchard, chaps.
Been checking accounts today, and on my last three visits, I've been charged for my correct bill with the card machine using a PIN, and again for a different bill using a swipe only, according to HSBC.
That's not withstanding young Matt's attempt to charge everything to my tab, (not quite skillful enough though, as I spotted the 3-figure bill was a tad spendy for fish&chips and a bottle of water
).
Could I tactfully suggest anyone who paid with a card checks their accounts?
