Did the weather turn rough back home as expected?

Girls off on a coach trip to Seville I’ll be in the bar with my new mates from Bradford and Glasgow.

Morning all, I secumbed to the weather yesterday and when I got home around 2 pm I achieved nothing useful after that. I’m not going to bother going out today, instead I’ll do reports.

Good morning, Forum. Yesterday was a washout of DIY shite, from gardening, painting, drilling holes, hanging curtains, swearing at stuff and being annoyed at prices for dull cr4p i don’t want in duller shops I don’t want to go to. Happily I managed to squeeze in some therapeutic car stuff and got all meticulous by applying a layer of wax round the door and boot shuts.

Today, less of the same. As nowhere else has a bank holiday today, I’ll also be spending the day acutely aware that work will be quietly piling up in the background. Tomorrow I’ll be at a funeral and associated stuff for a big chunk of the day. The backlog grows, dammit!

Anyway, ‘nuf of my bitching and whining. Enjoy the sun and have a great bank holiday, all.

Morning,

Would be planning a drive out today, probably through the North York Moors, but had a little accident on Saturday and spent a couple of hours in A&E yesterday. Confirmed ruptured Achilles' Tendon and foot in a boot. Full assessment next Monday when the initial swelling has gone down. Either way that's no driving for me for a chunk of the summer!
