Hi QP 2004.

What Farrenhiet temp does the Maserati normally run at. Mine is 195F in normally town driving. Is this normal or too high?

Around 90C then, I would have thought that was ok.

I got a bit nervous in traffic on the drive back from Harlow, seemed to run at about 70-80 when moving but in a jam just over 90 , then we started moving again

My first car was a MK 3 cortina , I'd only had it a week, the temp guage was in a binnacle in the centre console , I sat at a junction thinking what's that hissing sound, looked down and the temp gauge was right off the end , luckily the head gasket survived but the cambelt snapped a week after that.

Every time I considered changing the 'stat all the responses on here indicated it was normal.
