They do this a lot. The springs are cheap about £50 each and if yours is not a facelift you might want to consider changing to GS sprigs and ride height?

You will need the hunter alignment though which is £200

To fit is simple too but the bottom spring adjuster nut is difficult to undo but you can take the top housing off which is easier (compress the spring obviously) if you staying stock.

To remove it’s just the bottom strut nut and the small top nut inside the boot behind the carpet wall and accesses a little tight with the tank in situ but the right tool and it’s not too bad.

You don’t need to compress the spring to remove the strut as it’s a self contained unit.

Speak to Ross at Meridien and mention this Forum for a health discount.

I have just bought some bits for my GS and noted prices are 4 x what they were justtwo years ago.

Ross states Maserati have increased their prices a number of times recently and this is also reflected across the FCA brand.

This thread is timely for me as my GS has just failed MOT needing front coil spring and upper suspension arm ball joint dust cover.

I'll need to source parts for a local mechanic - are Meridian my best bet for both?

Thanks guys. Is fitting a front coil as straight forward as the rear? Also (and probably stupid question) but why do you need tracking done afterwards (seems most expensive part of the job!).
