Thanks Andy, I've 10 lovely cars in stock, been stupidly busy recently, not complaining, busy's good when you run your own business. The Quattroporte is a great example, not many Sport Gt's around. Love Bordeaux Pontevecchio on a QP. The Gransport is also mint and the 4200's a lovely one too.

Frank, the 3 new listings don't have pictures yet but let me know if there's a problem with the rest of my stock list or gallery please. I'll photograph the Gransport tomorrow, the QP and the 4200 are at Autoshield having inspections and servicing etc.

The more I see Bordeauv Pontevecchio the more I love it.......Really does suit the QP's lines....

Does the F1 = mc shift?

Stretching my technical knowledge here Orcadian. The duo select is very similar although not the same as an MC Shift. It is similar in the fact that it is a manual gearbox with paddles and no clutch pedal.

I ask because I was advised against mc shift due to the 'hesitation' on each change and wondered if the F1 was the same

Have you ever driven an MC Shift? If you're referring to a Granturismo (I've not driven the QP version, although if it's the same 'box in a late QP I doubt it's very different) then it's a great 'box without hesitation. I'd say it's certainly on par with the speed of the e-gear in the lambo, particularly in Sport mode.

Sadly never driven a maserati full stop. purely going by good sources. it is something i must put right however my location makes this very difficult.

The late Quattroporte comes as auto and that's it. The MC shift and duo select boxes perform similarly, but aren't exactly the same. There's not much difference between the two but they're not the same components. I drove both back to back yesterday and there's not much difference, the Duo Select is a Sport GT which is a faster change than a standard car or an Exec GT. In my opinion, the only problem with either car is the slight judder when cold, at speed they're both superb.

It'd be a flight down I'd presume. I regularly meet customers at Manchester & Liverpool airports and happy to do so.

Never driven a Lambo (one day, one day...) but the MC box is pretty dopey in auto, a delight in manual and blisteringly quick in sport with the MC stuff warmed up and doing its thang. Perhaps you'd heard rumours based on using it in auto, Orcadian?
