That's mad. I'd be so tempted to get one for Mrs Catman, but she's only little, and the fuel bill would be grim.

Think this is the one on E Bay Andy mentioned: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2005-MASE...2-SA-MAY-PX-/281154520674?hash=item41761d8662

"Mileage incorrect" at 76K, sold for £11K. Different reg to the PH one (which is also now on E Bay) but that proves nothing....sale said "The private number plate does NOT come with the car ,it will return to its former 2005 prefix" . Same part of the country, looks the same, just a few more miles on the clock (indicated!).

Could be wrong but it looks like the 11k one doesn't have as dark a tint on the rear windows as the 14k one.

Ok, phone call made.
Something is very odd.

The 2 cars appear identical even down to the central phone, mileage.
Current seller told me it's not the car that was on EBay, it has a full Maserati service history, with books, has just had a major service and it's been his personal car for 5 years.

First line of ad says "taken as p/x" !!!!!!

Cheers Wattie

If you look at the OSF of both old and new adverts you will see that the front wheel has the same damaged spoke, and just to the rear of the same area the two cars have an ill fitting sill plate just behind the front wheel.

Also both cars have the same finger-print marks on the central ifo'taiment screen, in addition the same split mark on the screen between the dials...in summary this is the same car in both adds.

Here's a thought.
Buy the car, have fun, if it goes wrong you go back to the bloke and demand a refund cos it's clearly been misrepresented with false info/ mileage and if he refuses you go to trading standard etc!

Presumably he'd have to comply or face fines/closure etc

Sounds all a bit odd to me....Not many earl QP's on GT wheels...in silver with black leather......This surely is the same car...
