Seen lots of pictures and read threads on these cars but have never seen one in the flesh until today.

Thought it was really good looking car, but smaller than I expected, it reminded me a little bit of the Lancia's of old. Squat masculine lines which really appealled. Thought it was black but on closer inspection saw that it was a dark metallic green.

Thats the beast.

As I said in photos they look longer, reckon that it must be the lines of the car.

Love them, I was proud to be seen in these handsome racers, one of the better things about the 90s.

Completely agree....remember reading Harry Metcalfs adventures in his long term Cup in Performance Car mag and just wanting one soooo bad.

So did I at one time, but I was never confident enough to close my eyes to all the horror stories relating to the biturbo era. In the end I decided on the Alfa GT 3.2 V6, which maybe a poor man's Ghibili, but in my opinion is a better looking car, far less headache and best sounding V6 ever. I do concede not as fast and is missing the Maserati badge but nowdays the Alfa badge is not too shaby
