Rear view camera QP

It is possible - mine had a tv input module which displayed a Kenwood system on the standard screen in tv mode. Various parts of that system failed and were too expensive to replace/repair against how much I actually used it. Rear camera input was an option on the system, automatically displayed when reversing.

I'd be interested to know the outcome of your investigations, as I've thought about this too (the idea, not the detail!).

I've had a company give me quotes for Parrot install and camera integration to the central display. I guess Hertford might be a drag though

Not ideal, however it's sometimes about the quality of the work, not the distance. Have you had the parrot installed?

Just an update.. I did strip out the head unit but unfortunately the 2004 unit doesn't cater for any auxiliary inputs. I'm not sure if the 2007 onward models have upgrade but I assume it would be possible for the newer models.
I may go down the aftermarket route once I figure out re-routing some of the essential buttons adjacent to head unit.
