As you can see from the photo, he tired his best to sabotage the 1000 mile 10 day cycle ride though France.

Yep-I'm glad I never joined you when you asked / offered, your strava data shows you were 80mph for some stretches, I wouldnt have been able to keep up past 50ish.....

Why do buses have the most stupidly small windows?
I am currently sitting in a brand new bus that has about as much opening window area as the Space Shuttle.
It is not a Health and Safety issue as bus windows where always small before we invented Health and Safety in the 1970’s.
It is 40 plus degrees inside and smells of human - both male and female, not to mention all the other types of terrestrial being (that’s the subject of another rant) that use public transport.
The fans are blowing ambient air at 30 degrees! The driver is wearing a jumper!

On the plus side the locals are quite pleasing on the eye as we crawl down Park Lane.

Shouldn’t you be working instead of looking out the windows? You have a Maserati to support. Just saying....

Why oh why oh why does the young German intern have to wear such a short, figure hugging dress that shows off her long legs, pert buttocks and flat waist. Further to this, her wearing and then removing her glasses to rearrange her hair by tossing her head from side to side is a constant distraction.

No one is getting any work done today not even the women!

Yours MLC, heading for a cold shower

Please remind me of ‘76?

I was 5 and the only recolition I have is being on my Dads shoulders in Shirley High Street, Southampton watching Saints bring home the FA cup.

Apparently this year it’s not rained since May and looking at what was my lawn I can vouch for that. How much hotter was it in ‘76?

I was 26 then.. You've got a lot of catching up to do;)

CAR INSURANCE - makes no sence

My son, 24 yrs old 6 years no claims drives a fully modified MK5 Golf GTI stage 3 map - full air ride suspension- short shifter - sports exhaust etc etc all fully declared and agreed value 6k.
So he gets a new job and needs a sensible car to commute in so off he goes and gets a 2.0 diesel VW Passat - value 6k - guess what, his insurance goes up from just over £600 to just over £800 !!
Makes no sense to me -

Rarity? Cost of replacement parts? Ability to steal? Diesel... Just guessing
