QPV Rear Brake Light Error

My rear brake light bulb blew and has melted the surround. The break light will come on in daylight when the temperature is cool but will not work in night when the light has been on for more than a minute. The overheating causes the resistor to shut it off and the brake light error code comes up on the dash. I now need to readjust the surround every so often, otherwise find a replacement tail light - any ideas on where I can source this? eBay has not come up wit the goods in the past three months.

Is it the 3rd brake light / high level one you mean ?

If its the normal tail lights then the same vendor is breaking a QP V.
