Pipe with split nut under car?

Hi,

I remember that possibly MAF and possibly someone else had put pictures up of I think what was a braided hose with a split nut at the end of it, located somewhere underneath the car.

I'm hoping to have a poke around under my car tomorrow and wondered if whoever it was wouldn't mind posting up the picture, just so that i can have a look at mine tomorrow. I wonder if it is something the MD's check.

Both Frank and I that I know of have had this replaced and it's a bit of a pig to do so the labour is a bit high. The inner wall breaks down and the two sections rattle together, a bad design issue as it's a common problem I think.

The pipe was a few hundred, plus labour, a true design weakness/failing......I think I got Roberts as I was off on holiday and his was done later....thank you Rob!
