Funnily enough from Someone wanting the thread gone! Have they been disciplined?

I thought the purpose of off topic was to try to separate threads that some may not want to read or participate in.

Seems that some don’t but they”ll read them, respond and complain anyway if it upsets them.

I've only just caught up on that thread. I'm happy to see open free discussion on any and all topics left open to roam free.

Only by by talking and open discussion will we ever learn others thoughts or opinions that are of course always perfectly valid. To close it down I don't think is healthy and maybe a slight current societal issue.

Just because something is difficult doesn't mean it shouldn't be done and avoided.

Contrary to belief, I don’t think this is a social media site, it’s a gathering of friends that have a shared love of Maserati. We can help each other, and we try on many subjects, but sometimes some try to impress their beliefs onto others, you should just go find some other forum to express on. We are all intelligent, and don’t need others expressing their **** here.

I've chosen to ignore a few on here I'm far from aligned with and that has worked well for me.

I also choose to not read any threads that don't interest me or I don't like or don't want to participate in. Works for me too.

I'm OK making mainly my own decisions mainly and don't need to always be told what to do, say or think.

Wish I had never met some low life's that exist on this planet or invest money into a CBD company promoted by such low life's. That was a painful £80k mistake so my decisions aren't always spot on!

Nope. You missed the point. Friends. Interests. That’s the point. Winding other people up for your beliefs in vaccination is pretty poor. Especially given the community on here. I don’t want to say calm down, because everyone has their opinions. But when you know it’s winding folks up, that are your friends, it’s not good. Why threads should even be considered to be closed, maybe people should be more considerate before they post.

It isn't so fair on the mods really as they are often stuck between a rock and a hard place. You can't please both sides in any clearly divisive subject.

Leave the thread open and half will moan. Close it and half will moan. Not sure there is an answer is there? Unless the people who want to moan just ignore it I guess.

You chose to read an off topic subject that you knew might not align with your views.

I can assure you that many views on here “wind me up” and they’re fellow forum members here.

It may come as a shock to you but not everyone feels the same about matters….that doesn’t mean it’s a deliberate process of upsetting people. It’s a right to express your viewpoint.

If it winds you up or has the potential to, don’t read it in the first place!

By the way, my family and I are fully old school vaccinated……just not these EUAs .

When you click on New Post, that’s what you get. So you read them. Maybe when making a post, there would be a Post to Everyone, or post to Folks I’ve Previously Posted to. Jeezz, sounds like a social media site.

Because this is a Maserati car forum and not The Daily Mail website. We allow off topic content but when it crosses a line and turns to personal insult it is culled.

You know this, why push it?
