I've just taken a minor shareholding in a startup crowd-sourced football results app CrowdScores.
It has only recently gone live and we're trying to build up a user base. We aim to provide the fastest score information out there because our users provide the information as it happens.
The founder was in the bar watching one match last night and he said the whole bar where on their phones trying to get information on the other matches, the Crowdscores feed was beating them all hands down, the information was coming far quicker than the Sky Sports app can manage.
If you are a football fan then this is for you. As well as receiving score information quicker than from any other source there are also prizes for participating.
It's been kicked-off (no pun intended) with football but we aim to extend it to other sports in time.
