Hi
I have a Maserati Gearbox that it was on my grandfather's garage, and I don´t have much information about that.

The only information my grandfather told me, is that it belongs to a Maserati sport, and it has 4 drives. (I think it has an oil connection to an oil radiator, but i m´not sure)

It has stamped on it the following details:

212
216EU
8/40

this is all information we have for the moment.

Could you help us identifying that?

Greeting from Argentina

José

crikey I recognise that!

I've seen that in a single seater classic that I've seen on Enrico's Pages...

The 8/40 refers to the gears ratio.. that's how the Italian's allways show the ratios ,ie it's 8 point 4 to one in top gear
