Not been on here for a few year so thought it would be polite to introduce myself (again)

I did own a 2009 FL 4.2 QPV way back when but now own a 2010 Quattroporte 4.2, love the car and I’m just about to start working through a small list of little niggles that need addressing such as a window regulator, servicing and wheel refurb; nothing major but like to keep my cars tiptop.

Anyway, enough of the waffling on, here she is…101021

Welcome! Congratulations on your lovely new QP - looks ace! Has the front grille been de chromed? I must admit, I think the QPs look better that way.

I too was away from the forum for a number of years but came back recently and really enjoying being part of the community again. I tackled the window regulator myself but found it wasn’t an easy job, for me, though got it done. Prevention-wise I’d thoroughly recommend silicone lubricant spray of the window running channels etc.

4.2 is black, 4.7 is chrome.

Bit of a long shot but does anyone know if the window regulator on a pre facelift will be unchanged for the facelift?
