I hadn’t thought of the filter. Tried all sorts in post-processing but it’s better to get the footage right. Ordered one.

I’m trying to think of where to mount the fourth camera. Probably inside on the rear window. I mount it on the clamshell on the Spider and it works well.

The filter will make all the difference.
Yes inside looking back would be my vote.
What cameras do you use?

Looks like there wasn't the collection of wankered Abarth 500s this year. Maybe we should have come along.

There was - they were in the field next to us but were reasonably quiet until later. More annoying were the VX owners opposite who had the 'boom boom' music going from the back of a diesel Zafira all day.

I've a GoPro Session for the windscreen. A Muson HD camera on the bumper and a pair of Lightdow HD cameras. The GoPro gets better white balance so needs less correction. The other 3 cost a half the price of the GoPro in total though. I think I'll pick up a better mic before I look to upgrade cameras.

My real expense what Final Cut Pro X for the editing. It makes working with multiple angles trivial.

Just got back from a blast over Blakey Ridge, around, and back with Dave and Dave. Good fun and great ice cream afterwards, even if the car park made us a little nervous. Lots more video which will get processed as and when I get time. For the moment I'm going to have lunch then clean out the BBQ for later.

Yep. Was a quick blast, one missed turning!! Been a while, made some progress when safe to do so.
Great to have met you guys, Dave, sorry, didn't realise it was a manual. You'll have to do some one legged squats on the right leg to even up.

Video from today will be a little sparse. For some reason the rear camera stopped working. As that provides my audio I'm going to have to improvise with some from the cabin and some from the door. Will see what I get out of it though.

Car put away, dusty and full of flies...had to take the wife for an ice cream. Popped into Alexander’s on way back, they have just sold a lovely grancab in that mucky white colour...very nice indeed..

I saw that one. I'm trying to convince myself that I could fit three weeks worth of luggage in a GranCab. Its not working at the moment.

I will be doing this regularly going forwards, ie 3/4 week trips into Europe. There's more room in the boot for soft bags than you think, and if only two up, the back seats too, protected by the wind deflector

Unfortunately yes it means I've no video of it. Wish I'd thought earlier but I'd got a spare camera and mount could have put it on your windscreen and we'd have had it in all its glory!
