Hmm
After a particularly successful (read drunken) Mothering Sunday lunch, as I was saying goodbye to Mrs Catman's parents, I noticed that my NSF tyre was rather sad. I've been a bit dubious about it since I bought the car, so I guess it's time to buy some more.

Horror! F1 seems to not sell Falkens any more!

So I guess it's off to Black Circles or Camskill. Recommendations?

I got some of the old Falken 252 (or whatever that number was) from an e-bay company in Germany and got my local garage to fit and balance. some tyre fitting places will not fit and balance 3rd party tyres so phone first.

Thanks, Davy
As it happens I'm getting F1 to fit them. I called them and they sourced for me. Not the cheapest option, but needs must.

Biggest issue I've got now is how to get the car to F1 with a flat front. I have a tiny compressor, but....

As you are changing the tyre anyway, just buy a can of tyre sealant which has air in it too, use that and drive it there, costs a few quid from such as Halfords and some supermarkets / motor shops..!!

Yeah, that had just ocurred to me. It has slime in it already, so I'm not entirely sure that another can of goop will help. I might just lob the flat in the back of Mrs Catman's car and run it to Tesco's airline. See if it holds pressure over night.

Ta

Worst case I can just lob that flat in the 147, take it to F1, get that one sorted then bring it back and take the 4200
Or take both wheels up, but that's even more of a PITA. It'll be worth it though :D
