Noticed at the Geneva show that a lot of the high end manufacturers are now finishing a lot of the new models in a matt finish thats solid colours and metallics , looks completely without laquer and sealer , we spoke to one of the sales team regarding what sort of protection it has against the elements , i was astounded to be told that any kind of tree sap /birdshit would mark it permanently if not removed within a few days how wierd is that i cant understand why they would produce such a vulnerable product

Ha ha, its just a fashion thing, it will be gone by the end of the year with any luck. Besides, the flat black is rice rocker territory.

I have said it all along, there is only one car I would have in a colour such as Lime green, orange, or any other nail varnish colour and thats a Lambo....it just seem right.

I thought a lot of the matt colours was achieved by the application of a wrap. After you got bored, peel it off and go back to original colour.
