Evening all, home from half term hols & battery has died, a combination of 2wks lack of use, & onset of a cold snap..

Does anyone know the going rate for one of these Batteries? Was thinking of trying my local factor to source a Bosch equivalent to the standard Fiam unit.
Any pointers ?

Cheers

Hi Dave

Expect to pay around £85 for a Bosch S4013.

Easy to change so try it yourself.

When Emblem did mine (2006 QP) they removed a trim panel surrounding the battery both to gain easy access and to avoid damage. They also removed an unusual looking connector box attached to the positive terminal and transferred this to the new battery (Bosch S4013.)

That doesn't surprise me. I've just added a Cytek conditioner to mine and just screwing the two leads on was an exercise in skinned knuckles; there is so little space in there. And, I can't see how that unusual block on the positive terminal comes off.
