My first mot in the car in oct..i asked tester about rollers and that the car had an lsd..ne said no problems with that and just switch traction control off to make easier to get rear out of rollers...
Be interested if there was something official to say mustnt use rollers....
The computer screen on the MOT tester PC flashes up limited slip diff fitted to the car (certainly when doing mine) and not to do rear axle brake test on the rollers.
Fortunately I know the garage owner very well and do the MOT test next to him for a catch up chat!
Switching off the traction control does not help at all!
However, I suspect many testers ignore the warnings for an easier life...until something brakes, and then the owners finds out later not knowing the damage was caused by the MOT test as most owners are either not aware, not present, in the waiting area and can't see, etc etc.
