Great car - the one that got me hooked on Maserati!

Drove very well, has good history and there's not many around in that colour.

Good luck with your sale Johnny.

Hi Johnny

Nice to meet you the other day at the Scottish Italian Car meet.

This was the first car I went to see when I was looking at buying a 3200, but Johnny had beaten me to it by
1 hour and had bought the car. Nigel still took me for a spin and talked me through the car and that was it I was hooked
and had to find one.

I must say I loved the colour of this one and have not seen another.

If your looking for a good car you won't go far wrong with this one.

Good luck with the sale

I am capped on the number of cars I am allowed by credit control. Credit control works on the number of cars, not what they cost. Personally, for the cost of my new GTS Auto I could have had a used Granturismo 4.2 and a used V8V. Makes you think!

Nigel, I drive through Stockbridge most weeks so will keep an eye out for your car.

Yeah, really enjoying the V8V. The cockpit is a lovely place to be - feels more 'special' than the Maseratis, though partly I think because you sit so low and are cocooned with the low roofline and just two seats. Quieter than the (larini'd) Maserati on tickover...you can barely hear the exhaust, but an evil and loud bark on acceleration. It doesn't have the intoxicating kick of the 3200 manual though (still miss that!)....normally aspirated power delivery much more aligned with the 4200. Would like to think I'll be back in a Maserati at some point - if the Granturismo wasn't so large I'd have been tempted by an early one.

I will keep an eye out for you - make sure you wave! The car is garaged so not visible day-day!

Will put my x-ray vision goggles on. Drove through Stockbridge on Wednesday in my Maser and on Saturday in my wife's bright orange S3 Sportback.
