Hi, on the outside of my 4200 CC (04) the is a triangular shaped area painted matt black which is at the front bottom corner of the front windows - just inside of the door mirrors. On one of these the top paint surface has started to come away. I know that when I bought my car this was something that was re-sprayed. Any suggestions as to a) easy of removal for re-spraying or actually, may be just as cheap to get a replacement if easy enough to fit.
Thanks for any suggestions.
cheers
Adam

Removal needs the door card to be taken off, and ist held on with 2/3 bolts from memory , as part of the wing mirror fixing plate , spares are available but its just as easy to prep it properly so that the new paint will adhere as it should .all too often showroom valeters , arfa daily types just maskem up and flashem with some cheap spray , hence its off in one or two washes and goes milky white , just makesure you prep it well and the paint will stick

Just to expand on Loz's post, yes three bolts (M6 x 20mm IIRC) and then a further one to remove the backing plate from the mirror. Three electrical connections to unplug. Then watch out for the rubber sealing ring. Don't loose it as it'll leak otherwise.
