Each year, and i've looked back at previous posts, for the past five years I've been on the lookout for a Centennial Rosso with carbon bonnet. In particular with white flashes on the alloys. Perused the usual channels and again I'd ask if anyone hears/knows of a guy who knows a guy, please get in touch, I won't waste your time. There was one six years ago at Amari, i called to ask who the client was only to be told he was a collector and don't expect it to be on the market anytime soon, how true that was. Anyway, doubtless I'll be on howling again next year,

till then guys...

When you are looking for something so specific, I imagine you could be waiting around for another five years.

Even if you find one, it then has to be a good, well cared for car with decent history etc etc

Good luck

Buy a one with the carbon bonnet and get the car wrapped to your preferred colour. You can get very good carbon wrap now too.

By the time one comes up your taste will have changed. That’s what happens as we age.
I used to want a red Countach. Now, not so much.

I use to want a 222 Racing but now I want your new Zagato Spider, it just looks so right in that colour combo with those wheels

It is a Racing! Kind of. When imported it was fitted with the Racing badge before going to the first owner, as Glenn Butt of Meridien Modena thought it looked good. So while arguably not factory-correct, it is an original fit to this car.
So ticks all the boxes for you Andy!

Careful Ewan, don’t let certain elements of the rivet-counting community see that or they’ll be in with their pitchforks

A few have come up for sale this year without the carbon bonnet. They usually sell before they go on general sale and @dickygrace is the man to source one for you!
