White ones start at £55k. And that's asking price - from a dealer. So if you live in Essex, you're in luck.

Why are you in luck if you live in Essex? Well, apart from it being a beautiful and diverse county with plentiful attractive towns and villagrs, the amazing coastline and an abundance of god pubs and restaurants.

Bit of worry it had new carbon discs & pads @ 23k miles. Wonder why.....surely not worn out?
Aren't new carbon discs about £20K?

edit:

Just had a look on Eurospares and a full set of discs is £12K + vat. So that's at least £15K spent on prepping this car. Seems a bit odd to me.

Reference to white I would imagine Adam....White socks, white trousers....

Ah, gotcha! I should keep my eyes peeled for white Masers, in that case. The only one I'm aware of lives in Hampshire, which kind of buggers up the usual hackneyed clichés a bit. :)

Actually no. You will only every replace the fronts I would suspect and maybe pads all round.

Pads per corner are £400 and discs are about £1200 I recall.

The £12k option would obviously cover all the hubs and callipers etc.

The discs don't really wear, the faces tend to break up if abused. There is a company in Germany that can reface them. I think its a grand for all 4. Obviously there are tolerances to take into account but suppose you have them faced before they get too bad.

One thing to look out for is wear caused by cleaning chemicals. Never, ever use wheel cleaner anywhere near ceramics. Avoid the local hand car wash where they squirt that stuff around. It'll kill the carbon. If the disks don't have a nice shine to them then you may have an expensive problem ahead.

Eurospares' prices are coming up at £3K per disc. They have some used ones for half that price though.
