I wonder what happened to it..?

There are a lot of Hydrolocked 4200's around at the moment, I might have been this. The problem is, if you want to make a coffee table the con rods will be 'Banana'd'....nothing a bit of heat and a lump hammer won't sort I suppose.

Worth the current money for bits, if you're that way inclined and have a workshop, could be good to strip and repair.

It has been Hydrolocked verified by the seller, and most of the other good bits have been removed as well....

Shameful to see this happening..........Maserati design....is hydrolocking the biggest single cause of 4200 engine failures......?!

It is when they're driven through a foot of standing water. I've heard it's taken out a good number of Beemer 3's as well.

Frank, Now that's naughty, you know it is?? The 3200 engine is excellent, don't see loads of 3200 engines bust up now do you??
I suppose it's a coffee table then??

Guy in the office next door did his 320d Msport a month back, he said the water was more of a large puddle and BMW dealer had 20 in for the same thing, poor design of the intake that's all it is.
