Having had a second hand engine fitted will affect its value, as will the highish mileage. I think it's one that was up for sale before christmas....he was looking for £15.5k if I remember correctly.

With the replacement engine it's hard to say whether its due its 68k camchains. It does look nice though (would probs benefit from the wheels being redone in anthracite).

he did have a few probs with it.....sorry if i shouldnt be saying this..........he sold it and got a 355

Thats the one...Adam posted the link up when it was for sale last year.......Sounds like it didn't sell...Pictures are the same. If he didn't sell at 15500 then I would imagine reserve to be around 13k maybe...especialy as he has moved abroad..........I like it but as you say Nige would need the wheels redone in anthracite......

Just spoke to the owner, £13500 not a penny less. Autofficina have apparently done all the work on it and he did say it's spotless. Seemed like a nice guy selling it on behalf of his friend.

Someone should make me a decent offer on mine - they'd soon recoup the difference and not have the unknowns of it having highish miles and a different engine come resale time...

I wonder if the original engine is still available too?
Why would one not just rebuild the original engine?

Probably Matt.......Seems the one thing that hits the manual 3200........13500...That seems a good price if a good un....

Would be worth calling Autofficina if you are interested then to see what they did.....................
