As always Richard has another stunning looking car available, I have no idea where he keeps finding them but I am glad he does

Swap Shop Peter,

Very nice!

It is very similar to my 2nd 4200...And that was my favourite of the 3 coupe's I have owned. Car was purchased by Ade and now lives in France.

Looks stunning,Love the colour & Especially liking the front grill - prefer these to my slatted plastic affair - I daren't spend any more money on it at the moment - need to funnel some funds away from prying eyes first!!!!

Totally agree...and its just a few screws to swap them over. However I also had a GS lower splitter fitted as well and an X pipe

Yeah, noticed and think discussed the splitter before - does it come in black and you sparay it up. I take it you take the old one off and put the GS one on.

I have some Tubi's to fit to mine, but have been resisting body mods, may look at lowering and pushing the wheels out.

Looking at the prices of the FD springs it may well be cheaper to go to US on holiday and bring them back than buy over here.

I really think you should have kept it - must admit it was taking on board your comments about ride etc that swayed me more to the 4200FL as opposed to a GS.

That's into GS territory and I know where I'd rather be. Looks nice in that shade of Grigio but not as nice as Alfieri.

It's not an ex forum car as far as I'm aware. It belonged to a gentleman up the road from me for the last 3 years. Phil, GS territory isn't £20950, an equivalent mileage GS was bought by a forum member this week for about £7-8k more. This also has a great history, is immaculate, inspected and has a new clutch. I actually think it's great vfm.

Have to agree...4200 offers the better middle road.

GS splitter required the bumper off and painting to match. Dropping the car can be done without new springs but does require a reset geo.

Thanks - Its one of the things I was going to speak to Marios about at Service time in June, (May have found a grill :shh:)

Yup, very nice car indeed Richard. Mind you I am slightly biased! Mine is pretty much identical other than being 2 years younger and 40k less miles. Oh & having 19" GS wheels.

Shame it wasn't around a year or so back as would have saved me a few k

Seems alright to me. Although not driven one on 18's so nothing to compare to. Also don't drive it tons so it doesn't get enough time to get on my noggin.

The old E Class Estate I just bought as a spare rides very nice though. Massive 16's!
