It certainly was part of the LE pack....

Red brake calipers
CD changer
Full leather
Mercury grey alloys
heated front seats with driver side memory
Electrochromatic rear veiw mirror
External grills in black
Seatta badges
Xenon lights and headlight washers
Auditorium 200 high power Hi Fi
Rear parking sensors

All this as part of the LE pack cost £3175

If you bought it separate on the options list it would have cost around £6500

Bought by yours truely. Struck a deal within 15 mins of it being advertised!

Many thanks to Dicky who was excellent in trying to source me a car. I know that he has a lovely car on route which I had my eyes on but this car was just too well cheap to ignore!

Thanks for the mention Hedgetrimmer. I'm glad you got such a fine example and it means my other one is available for anyone else who's interested. All the very best, looks a beauty.

Congrats, lovely colour combo and it looks nicely presented. Enjoy.

This dealer sold a black/black 07 plate a while back which also looked stunning. Yellow piping/callipers....very nice.

I would question whether it is an LE pack GS, for it definately has not got Xenon lights and headlight washers. Okay difficult to make out the headlight washers, but easy to see the headlight height adjustment panel next to the light switch, which of course is not present when Xenon lights are fitted.
Still a lovely GS of course.
Cheers

You to strike a deal subject to test drive.....If I was buying a car that I had to travel to see I would do the same...Not point traveling all that way if you an not agree a price.

Deal is subject to me being happy with the description of condition. I will investigate the point in relation to the lights. They look like the real article but without the washers.

The car does not have xenon's but it has everything else on the LE spec list together with leather roof lining. The dealer is keen for me to **** on the deal as they realise that they have underpriced the car. The fact that it doesn' have xenon's is not an issue for me, especially given that the pop up washers sometimes decide to get board of being part of the car!

Fingers crossed that its in the confirmed condition.

Hedgetrimmer, you are just right. I decided what I wanted in my car and when I found a prime example without xenons it was not enouygh to put me off - no regrets since.

Good luck, hope it is mint.

You can get uprated bulbs for the Coupe, which do a fair impression of Xenons. I had them fitted to my old GS.

Unfortunately the government is introducing new MOT legislation in the next couple of months which outlaws HID conversions on headlamps unless they are self leveling. I will look into the brighter bulbs but I don't want to cause issue.
