Hold on...both systems use the same projector its only the type of light that differs, the HID is far brighter and closer to natural day light.

I do agree than in non projector systems tbere is more blead of light across ths beams.

Do they use the same projector? Clearly Eurospares have different part numbers for the units, but I'd expect the light 'point' source to be in a different place for the incadenscent vs the HID's and therefore the projector to be different.
This has always been one of the given reasons why aftermarket HIDs are a bad idea / dazzle other road users etc etc.

If it has HID,s then you would have to convert it back then next year, or get a new nose with washers. I might have been interested but I,m not sure about the interior

The headlight units are not the same as the HID has to have self leveling and washers, however the part that focuses the beam is the same, Elipisodal or HID

Phil,
Yes it's not the engine, or the car that is making me want a change just because it is at 60K, I am just interested in maybe having a GS, or even something different if I can't find what I want in Maserati. (I know wash my mouth out)..!!
