In my experience of cc clutches if they go past 50% they go on and on.

Premature clutch failures we saw 5 years ago in the 4200/QP were down to a poor batch of pressure plates by Valeo.

The car has been priced to account for the clutch, get another grand off and you will have covered for the wear.

You could get another 25k Miles out of that clutch or even more.

Just checked MOT history on it and says it hasn’t had one for over 2 years, is that right?

Did you key in the right registration. Its MOT doesnt expire until July 2018 and its been MOT'ed each July for the past two years.

Mine is an Executive GT. You should expect: wooden steering wheel and matching hand brake handle; rear window blinds; rear tables; I think rear control of the a/c is standard; rear 'comfort' seats (massage); mine has rear heated seats too, not sure if that is standard.

This is my car that’s for sale & she’s got piano black steering wheel & interior trim (to match the black leather), so looks fantastic. I actually prefer the black leather as the lighter colours do age really badly, especially around the seat bolster.

Lovely example and very well priced too. Any serious or interest yet? Or just a load of timewasters?

Am considering whether to keep it well my QP so interesting to see what the market is like.

My 07 QP Exec GT has the Picnic tables and rear massage, but not heated. The steering wheel is black leather matching the Piano black facia. Other than that same as yours

The specs on Exec GT's seem all over the shop.

Mine has wooden wheel, trim & picnic tables with rear electric heated, cooled & massaging seats. Useful when I'm in the driving seat!

evening,
well i contacted the guy thats got this for sale https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2007-MAS...652424?hash=item362c21e388:g:0aIAAOSwtBdaazfL
to maybe speak to him about this car as a project, well no wonder the man still has it for sale,
hes a bit of a comedian, and i don't think he liked all the questions about this car and how it got to be in this state of repair, well not a straight answer, very high spec though shame it ended up like this ,,

on a slightly different subject, i was looking at getting the launch X431 pro3 unit ? just for maserati i will be buying 2006 QP

feedback would help before i buy a unit that is a waste of time etc, thanks

Hi Martin. Be careful regarding using anything other than the SD3 unit for the Quattroporte. The guys at Migliore Cars told me that only the genuine thing will access all menus to make all of the readings! The clutch wear on the Quattroporte is one of these! Apparently there is also a copy unit called a Leonardo (or something like that). Might be worth investigating that all of the things that you want to do with it can actually be done?

yep you are right,,
i asked why the back end has dropped, i asked why its gone from white to grey , i asked why are there a lot of parts missing ie trim etc,, and he said along the lines of " thats how i got it i dont know " ? i said in my opion its about £4000 to much, needless to say he said its half price at £8,000
thats where our conversion ended,,

buy the way geoffcapes, is that a translink recovery truck ? one of andy's

too maninblack lenardo it is so expensive (IMO ) for a garage or dealer fine, its recoupable but not just for me and one maserati,,

It's a company called Road Runners. Giallo used them to collect my car after it dumped the clutch fluid all over my garage floor.

All Maserati diagnostics are mega expensive. It's so you go to Maserati to get any work done on your car.
You're better off using AV Engineering when you buy a QP rather than buying the diagnostic gear yourself, as they're only in Challock, just outside Ashford.
