Look what Jaguar gave me as a loan car.

Interesting car that Phil....Look forward to hear your thoughts. I see Jaguar are dropping the R range and just aiming at SVR as they say the two over lap.

I was doing some work yesterday in Leeds on the top floor of the Carlsberg building at Tetley Brewery with window open in comms room. Heard a loud distinctive noise drive by flooring it along. So obviously a RRS SVR. Sure enough it was. A very unique loud & lovely sound they make!

Are we talking about a Jaguar SVR or RR SVR. Does anyone have or had a RR SVR? I was considering one and it would be useful to know opinions

Half my sons school seems to have one. A RRS SVR that is. They seem to like them. I've not heard anyone that has one that has had any bad words to say. Most of them wouldn't know what a decent car was to be fair though so not a great yardstick.

You should have said hello - I work in the city centre!

On the subject of RRS SVR noise, there's one lives near me and it does sound epic. Not sure if it's got active exhaust but it's bl00dy noisy!

I will certainly drop you a line next time I'm up there. Not doing much there at the moment but will be up there more as the site comes online. It is 20 odd acres so Carlsberg will relocate but the lovely The Tetley building/gallery next door will remain I'm told. A 10 year program the same as the site in Stratford. They are taking on a Cardiff site now as well so guess I'll be travelling much more!

First visit 2 months ago to set up the office was 2 X 20 hour days & another 20 hour day Tues so hopefully easier/shorter day next time.

Every time I've heard an SVR they always seem to be in a loud mode so not sure if they have a quiet one!
