What’s the plan with this?

What time does it start and finish?

Do people usually come up the night before and stay over then all leave immediately after? Or usually spend the night there after as well?

Thanks

What’s the plan with this?

Based on last year:

TEAM A: Get up bright and early on the day, and drive down from wherever they are to Llandow, which is further past Cardiff than you think, for around a 9am start.

TEAM B: Meet in the hotel in Chepstow about 7pm the night before, for a couple of shandys, and then pop out for a snack and a glass of wine. Somehow end up staggering back to the hotel at about 2am. Then drag themselves to the nearby garage for fuel and a breakfast pastie at about 8am, before blearily driving to Llandow, which is further past Cardiff than you think, for around a 9am start.

Then everyone drifts away individually between noon and 3pm depending on how cold / dark / rainy it is. Unless they need to wait for a recovery vehicle.

Dark and rainy.....not had one of those yet....Fingers crossed the sun will still shine. But if it does rain at least it's kinder to th tyres. Mark has nailed it though. The track is around 50 mins to an hour from Chepstow depending on traffic but for those staying overnight it gives your car a warm up before you go in track.

Brilliant...Thanks again John.....

In a week I'll send out payment details. just want to see if we get a few more as don't want to ask £100 when once over 23 if will be cheaper and I think I may have another two names.
Plus the three who are maybes any idea if you will be coming as again don't want to confirm if you can't come as that will effect the cost. Thanks.

It is really difficult for me to say unfortunately. My work schedule is a bit unpredictable at the moment and I am not often in the country.

What I suggest is that you just count me in. I will pay the required amount and if I can’t go ... I can’t go.

I understand how difficult it is to plan things around maybes.

Oh go on then, count me in if it’s not too late?

Not done one before but sounds like a good crack...
