Without putting my biased hat on I do think the clutch life on a manual car can be a lot longer and on other cars the manual cars seem to command a higher premium and on America's Bring A Trailer that seems to be the case now with Maserati 4200s with a manual shift especially as they are rarer too. Unfortunately for me there is also an emphasis on low milegae cars so rules mine out.

Nothing wrong with high mileage cars providing they are sound , to me it spells guaranteed reliability , ive always found the more you use these cars the more reliable they are

Its a shame ive not been able to preach what i teach with my own current one , circumstances allowing, after July and a visit back to sportsitalia this year things should be different , but im still left with the quandary that MX05VUR is one of the lowest miles gransports still out there ....which in theory to whack a load more miles on it will detract its value somewhat, I feel more at ease whacking a load of miles on the Bentley rather than the masser......................maybe the real answer is to buy another with more miles on it .............just saying to the wife
