I would be really interested to see how the door strips come out as my grey ones have to go!

Thank you, I would probably wait until end of year, however, if I can’t get it out next weekend I won’t see it again until nearly end of May... do they just pop off....

They do just pop off, a little leverage from the rear edge and four lugs hold each one in. make sure you don't damage the leather when levering!

Oooh, very nice. Did you have to remove the sticky surface on the vents before sending them?
What was the cost for the door inserts and air vents?

I think I may have just spent my bonus. How much? (hoping cheaper than non-scratched replacements :D)

Yes, it all looks so much better in real life too!
I did scrape off all the coatings from the air vents before so the carbon dip would fix better.
They really take the time and trouble to make the best possible finish.
Total cost was £250 all inclusive.

Bruce, if you find any one in Aus that does a great job hydrodipping, please let me know. I've been wanting to have the door strips done for over 5 years but never really looked into it....

They look fantastic and will certainly lift and modernise the interior.
Well worth considering for the now sticky air vents on a 3200

I had the interior parts of Doris done in 2015 and the rest is with my coating company now, they are more local to me in Coventry. The plastics were off brown so it made a big difference. As soon as the last parts come back next week ill post some pics.

The only caveat is they tend to lose shine after a while so i have had all mine relacquered. its something to do with the way the dipping works and reacts with gloss coat.

I used Isopropyl to take off the sticky coating, i have this for removing wax prior to polishing, you can get it from any detailing supplier
