how far can the ride hight be lowered on the 4200??

Yes same springs fitted from MY03 onwards.
The GS is just lowered 10mm on the spring platforms.
Lower away, however its down to you if you go too far, depends where you live regarding the road quality.
If you go on Formula Dynamics recommendation (using their springs though) 30mm drop is classed as 'average street' with a 40mm drop being 'aggressive street' to 50mm drop 'track car or show car only'

I was toying with the idea of maybe 25mm on mine, I will be discussing this with Marios in a week's time, prior to leaving for Spain. I think I would stay with the same springs and just lower the platform, if that feels OK then I'm done.

I went 30mm lower on my first GranSport (with FD springs). The car felt really good, but it was too low for speed humps, etc.

My current GS has been lowered 10mm from stock.

So as the GS is about 10mm lower as standard to the 4200, you think I should aim at about 20mm max then..??

MY03 does that mean all cars built after 03 im guessing? what springs do cars before that have? are they lowerable just the same?

Lowerable just the same....

Miles lowered his 4200 as well..Sure he will be along to discuss soon. Made a massive difference to handle of a stock 4200 as they do tend to have a bit of body roll......

The springs only as far as I am aware.
Same skyhook/adjustable spring platforms I believe.
Just a different spring rate.
