Hi

Just wondered how easy it is to get a wire from the cabin in to the boot?

It can be untidy as it is purely temporary, for a camera.

Cheers

It can be done and is relatively easy, but time consuming. You'll need to remove the rear seat and some of the boot trim, plus anything else inside the cabin depending on where you're running cables from.

Under the door rubbers, up between the rear seat and side cushion, then behind the panel on the c pillar.

Thanks

How easy is it to remove the C pillar? I'm thinking that's at the rear of the car to the side of the rear parcel shelf?

Indeed, use a coat hanger to find path to the boot, and tape the end of the camera cable to it, you should not have to remove the panel on the inside of the c pillar using a hanger wire..

So there's a gap big enough for a coat hanger that I won't need to remove any interior panels...?

Sounds good.

i think i ran a cable up through the rear window pillar for my reversing sensor, and ran the cable along the top of the door this only required the pillar covers removing so not so hard.

Do the covers gently pull off?

U should be able to slide hanger and attached wire through to the boot behind the cover.....gently!

Yes, held on my christmas tree plugs, like the ones holding the boot liner in.

If you're at all worried, a set of trim removal tools will eliminate (most) any chance of damage, and very *very* cheap from ebay, or free from your friendly Harlow based Maser driver :)
